Song by Keren-Ann and Benjamin Biolay, written for Henri Salvador, arrangement for 3 mixed voices SAB and piano by Bernard Langlais This song was co-written by Benjamin Biolay and Keren Ann, and appears on Keren Ann's first solo album, La Biographie de Luka Philipsen, created in 1999 and released in 2000. Also in 1999, producer Marc di Domenico introduced Benjamin Biolay and Keren Ann to Henri Salvador. Henri Salvador was over 80 years old and already had a whole career behind him in the music world. Meeting Benjamin Biolay and Keren Ann in 1999, and the song projects they proposed, including Jardin d'hiver, with poetic lyrics and bossa nova music, convinced him to re-record. The recording of the songs began in 1999, over several months, and the album, Chambre avec vue, for which this was the first track, was released on 12 December 2000. It was a success, and was also very well received by the critics, winning several Victoires de la Musique in 2001 (and another in 2002 for the tour). Henri Salvador made one of the greatest comebacks in the history of French chanson, at the age of 80 and after a musical career spanning 65 years (Wikipedia).
