Work & Edition Details
The piano works “B-A-C-H Improvisations” to Bach’s Art of Fugue (BWV 1080) were created in Leipzig for the double CD “The Leipzig Concert”. On the one hand they are inspired by Keith Jarrett, on the other hand they are also influenced by the music of the 20th/21st century, the so-called “New Music”. Elements of jazz and contemporary music flow in, but also Scandinavian sounds.
