Work & Edition Details
The impetus for the creation of this composition was given by Miroslav Plechatý, my colleague from the Prague Conservatory, who asked me to write a piece for the clarinet trio in his chamber music class. And it was also students of the Prague Conservatory who introduced my Wind Trio N.2 at the premiere at the Festival of Contemporary Music Days in November 2018 in Prague. The suite consists of four short movements, the first and the third are at a milder tempo, the second and especially the last movement at a very brisk tempo. The trio exists also in version for oboe, clarinet and bassoon.
