Work & Edition Details
This overture goes through several rhythmic turns and provides a nice challenge for the whole band. The ranges are moderate, but the difficulties come from the rhythmic interplay. The material also moves harmonically quite a lot, which is why no key signatures have been used. Parts are provided for four percussion players. Grade 5
