Work & Edition Details

Spohr probably wrote this short introductory music for the celebrations of the introduction of the Hessian constitution in 1831. The "Introduzione" is excellently suited as a short, ceremonial introduction to various occasions and should also prove to be a grateful exercise for school orchestras, for example.
