Work & Edition Details
premiere: ensemble cras, 19 September 2009, Altes Pfandhaus, Köln. This piece, when played together with Conditions –posttensions- (the duo), should be played as a continuation of the duo. That means, the trumpet player should be present on the stage from the beginning of the duo. Composed for Ensemble Cras in 2008. This trio is a direct continuation of the duo [Conditions -posttensions-], with a double-bell trumpet added. The material from the duo is explored from a different perspective. Similar events occur, i.e. mental and physical events as well as pure sound events, refreshed and modulated with the trumpet double-colour, along with new events that appear and force themselves in between. Further on the aspect of the unity possibility, between all the instruments, is confronted.
