Work & Edition Details
The mass was composed to be easy to rehearse and accessible music for church services. A notable feature of this mass is the complete absence of accidentals, making it a “white key mass”. The range for the singers sits very comfortable for the singers with the soprano part not going above f’’ (two-line F). The voice leading is pleasant and intuitive throughout. So, this mass is ideally suited to four-part church choirs.
