Work & Edition Details
This arrangement of one of Bach's most well known Preludes for solo piano and was commissioned by the 'Yukawa-Chan Piano Duo'. The Prelude in C minor is taken from J. S. Bach's 'The Well-Tempered Clavier Book 1'. The original piece's constant semiquaver pulse is expanded into a virtuosic arrangement that sees both parts exchanging thunderous blows and frenetic passages in a variety of cross-rhythms, dashing up and down the piano. The work is dedicated to Cassie and Rosey.
