Original work by Pierre-Gérard and Karine VERNY, harmonized for equal-voice choir - In the lineage of the traditional Christmas carols (Christmas carols in the American tradition), this original song by Pierre-Gérard and Karine VERNY, revisits the themes of childhood and the magic of Christmas in a very jazzy idiom. The lyrics (one version in English and another in French) echo all those little joys that turn adults into children as Christmas approaches, while the music takes us back to this season through a joyful and catchy melody. This version est composed for 3 equal voices, for women's choir, or even a children choir. The realization is of medium difficulty, the main pitfall being centered on jazz interpretation (ternary). However, and in order to make learning easy without spending time deciphering in a group, audio files (recorded with "real" instruments and vocals) are proposed to accompany this score: complete realization, play back (piano, double bass, drums, saxophone) and files with each voice with realization in background for the choristers.
