Work & Edition Details
The evolution of musical education leads children to start the study of the saxophone earlier and earlier, often from the age of eight. This method is designed for them. It is also addressed by its simplicity and diversity to all those who, whatever their age, want to learn the saxophone. The CD including the accompaniment of a 52 -minute music piano of this volume makes it possible to develop, from the second week of study, a harmonic listening with a repertoire of great diversity: songs and popular dances, music Old, classic, romantic, current language and improvisation. We want to develop the habit of memorization by a regular invitation to learn by heart and giving models of exercises to be taken up in different forms: Linked or detached, lower or upper octave, proposals of Rhythms for agility, opposite movements, etc. The teacher can thus take the freedom to develop exercises, reuse them or modify them according to the needs of each.
