Work & Edition Details
This homage to Rossini, who in turn, also regarded Offenbach as a kindred genius, is one of the treasures in Offenbach's oeuvre which is yet to be widely enjoyed. The work is based on themes from Wilhelm Tell. In addition to the first edition of the score, a piano reduction suitable for concert performances is also included.
