Quixote ISWC: T-316.150.247-8 ISMN: 979-0-707704-12-7 --- In Miguel de Cervantes’ masterpiece, chapter X of the first Book, Don Quixote de la Mancha speaks to Sancho Panza about a magical medicine, the balm of Fierabras, “It is taken and people are spared from being afraid of dying or getting hurt”. This fearlessness permeates the intrepid adventures of the unfortunate knight of the sad figure. The work is built upon the complexes [7 (3, 2, 2), 2, 9 (2, 3, 2, 2)] and [5 (2, 3), 8 (2, 2, 4)], and the original version was composed for organ. --- Na obra magna de Miguel e Cervantes, capítulo X do primeiro Livro, D. Quixote de la Mancha fala a Sancho Pança duma medicina mágica, o bálsamo de Ferrabrás, “Toma-se e escusa a gente de ter medo de morrer ou de ficar ferido”.
