Work & Edition Details
Carola Bauckholt's Doppelbelichtung (Double Exposure) is a 12-minute work for solo violin and electronics. The composer says about Doppelbelichtung:
"Today's technology allows us closely to examine birdcalls as though under a microscope, enabling us to create intriguing musical fusions."
Doppelbelichtung was premiered on 13 September 2016 by Karin Hellqvist at Ultima Festival Oslo in collaboration with the SWR Experimentalstudio.
