Work & Edition Details
This set of pieces originated in a short movement celebrating the 90th birthday of my friend the composer Minna Keal: this was premiered by the Bingham Quartet at the Royal Academy of Music in March 1999. I have since revised, added - and subtracted movements - versions of some of them were performed, also by the Binghams, in 2002. This present suite of seven is just that - a suite, although they have been arranged and balanced to make a satisfying whole.
