Work & Edition Details
During a project with the Varia Canto ensemble on a repertoire evoking the weather and climate, in these times of major climatic disturbances, I wanted to enrich their repertoire with two pieces: "Soleil blanc" and "Halo de brume", whose poems are both taken from Olivier Blin's collection "Saisons". I composed these two pieces in quick succession, thinking about the timbre, colour and tessitura of each of the sections. The text for this piece comes from Olivier Blin's book of poems Saisons (original title of the poem: Neige) and the music was composed by Agnès Blin for her vocal ensemble Para L'Elles. It is for 3 equal voices and is accessible to choirs of all levels without any particular difficulty. Running time: approximately 1'15''.
