This book is the definitive modern edition of all Sor’s studies, lessons, and exercises for guitar, all of them newly edited directly from the original sources by Brian Jeffery who was the first to describe and publish all Sor’s guitar music. As far as is known it is the only urtext edition of Sor’s studies. Prescribed for all grades by the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music.
