Work & Edition Details
George Frideric Handel's "Fireworks Music" in an arrangement (A-D Ubben) for string orchestra alone, which was written for an amateur musician's group and is entirely oriented towards the possibilities of a pure string orchestra. The wind parts, insofar as they are not duplications of the strings alone, were integrated into the string section in such a way that the original sound impression is largely preserved.
