Traditional song - arrangement Joseph Samson for SATB a cappella choir Joseph Samson, born March 21, 1888 in Bagneaux-sur-Loing (Seine-et-Marne) and died July 9, 1957 in Dijon, was a French choirmaster, composer and writer. After classical studies, he studied music at the Paris Conservatoire between 1908 and 1914 in the writing classes of Xavier Leroux and André Gédalge. On his return from the Great War, he continued his training by taking private lessons with Albert Alain and, above all, Charles Koechlin, for whom he retained great admiration. (Wikipedia)
