Work & Edition Details
This commissioned work is a tribute to a famous son of the city of San Sebastian: the composer Pablo Sorozábal (1897-1988). As is typical of the zortziko ('in eight'), the popular Basque dance, the piece is written in a subtle metre with uneven beats.
