This second volume, a revised and expanded adaptation of the viola method by the same author, is intended for young children. It can be used for 18 months to 2 years as part of an individual or group pedagogy.The fingerings (1st and 3rd positions) are suggestions that the teacher will modify according to the aptitudes and progress of his pupils.The bow positions are not always indicated - it will be essential to specify them.The presence of certain pieces (such as Beethoven's 5th symphony, or J. S. Bach's Badinerie) will perhaps surprise... The aim is to establish a "personal" contact between the students and great works of the repertoire. Their performance will always have to be "transposed" and tempi, nuances, playing modes, etc. will have to be "adapted".Lesson 16 is a brief collection of fundamental fingerings and bowings.
