Ideally, the two sets of 3 blocks would have slightly different pitches from one another. *** Large Tam-Tam or Gong must be positioned between players 2 and 4 so that it is accessible by both players. ****Percussion 4 - Wood/Temple blocks should be mounted over the Timpani as there is a passage where the instruments are played together.
