Work & Edition Details
Compulsory work of the 48th Altea International Band Contest 2022.
This work is inspired by the beautiful film "Boyhood" by Richard Linklater, shot between 2002 and 2013. The film shows the development and experiences of a child as he grows and maturing, and it has the particularity hat the filming continued during the years that are shown on the screen the development of the characters as they were being affected in a real way by the passage of time. However, my work is not a music for this film, but is inspired by its structure and intention.
I have also tried to recreate in this work my own experiences and experiences as a father, how we see the growth of our children and also how we interpret and we remember that time from adulthood.
