Work & Edition Details
‘Turn’d to Bays’ was written for a concert that was based around the theme of Daphne and Apollo, which involved both music and readings. The text is by John Lyly.
The first performance was at the Aino Ackté-festival in Helsinki, given by soprano Katja Vaahtera; guitarist Rody van Gemert; and with Assi Karttunen playing the virginals.
