Work & Edition Details
This three-volume series is a manual, in English and German, for intermediate level violin teaching and is designed to be used as: a useful supplement for Suzuki students and teachers (Suzuki Book 4) a helpful aid for students and teachers using non-Suzuki methods, and a refresher course for players with previous experience. The main emphasis in Volume 1 of the series is to help the student master individual movements from violin concertos by J.S. Bach, Vivaldi and Seitz.
Additionally, Kerstin Wartberg has included numerous practice suggestions and instructions derived from her many years of teaching experience. Volume 1 includes two CDs which contain: performance versions of the concerto movementsplay-along backing tracks recorded at various speeds, to aid practice important preparatory exercises.

Diese dreibändige Sammlung kann sowohl im Suzuki-Bereich für Schüler der Hefte 4-7 als auch im traditionellen Violinunterricht verwendet werden. Ebenso ist sie für Wiedereinsteiger als auch für Autodidakten geeignet. Im Mittelpunkt von Band 1 steht die sichere Erarbeitung einzelner Sätze aus Violinkonzerten von J. S. Bach, Antonio Vivaldi und Friedrich Seitz. Zur Auflockerung gibt es Fiddle Tunes und leichtere kurze Bearbeitungen, u. a. von Schubert und Humperdinck. Zu allen Stücken gehören systematische Vorübungen und Übetipps sowie CD-Einspielungen in drei verschiedenen Übetempi.
