Work & Edition Details
After the New Orleans style, the clarinet continues its way in jazz music and approaches different styles. It will cross the "swing" period, with the great dance orchestras, to arrive at the time "Be-Bop". This music is no longer intended for dance but the direct expression of other feelings, other musical research. It was the time of Charlie Parker in the saxophone and Miles Davis with the trumpet.
