Skryabin's Prelude and Nocturne, 2 pieces for left hand. Includes the first of his 2 nocturnes he wrote, unusually written for left hand due to serious injury Skryabin suffered to his right hand as a young man, causing temporary loss of use to the hand.
Skrjabins Prélude et Nocturne, 2 Stücke für die linke Hand op. 9. Dass das erste seiner 2 Nocturne-Kompositionen für die linke Hand geschrieben wurde, ist ungewöhnlich und einer schweren Verletzung zuzuschreiben, die Skrjabin als junger Mann an seiner rechten Hand erlitt, was zu einem vorübergehenden Verlust des Gebrauchs der rechten Hand führte.
