Work & Edition Details
Ich versuche, eine Tonsprache zu finden. die nicht langweilig ist, sondern den Zuhörer in Atem hält und Eindruck bei ihm hinterläßt. Zugleich bemühe ich mich, heitere (ich sage nicht: komische) Musik zuschreiben, wie es Mozart mit seinen Divertimenti und zahlreichen Finales der Symphonien tat. Denn die Traurigkeit wie die Strenge und Kompliziertheit sind keine Beweise für Genie. (Julien-François Zbinden)
