Work & Edition Details
The idea of adapting Veljo Tormis' musics with a french text is born of a request made by Veljo Tormis to Loïc Pierre, during a exchange in 2002.. Purpose of this Great Score : The aim is to give acces to all those exceptionnal polyphonic tunes to french-only-singing choirs.This work, led by Loïc Pierre and Pierre Gief with eminent delicacy, is conducted with millimeter precision. It is not a translation nor an adaptation, but the French text, of a great literary quality, remains extremely faithful to the musicality of the original work. A high precision work!
