The present volumes (OperAria Bass, Volume 1, EB 8880) contains a representative cross-section of the lyric repertoire for bass. The curtain rises on the bass volumes, the foundation of the vocal family for heavier, darker voices, though nevertheless brilliant and full of radiance.
