Work & Edition Details
In 1900 L. A. Le Beau composed her last major work of chamber music, the quintet op. 54. Although the composition is intended for an ensemble of non-professional musicians, it places no small demands on the musicians‘ capabilities, particularly during the first and last movements. The edition contains a double bass part as an alternative to the second cello.
