Choral opus by Claude Vercher, for three mixed voices choir SAB (two women voices and one men’s voices) and accompaniment with three glasses This excerpt from Psalm 130 (From the depths I cry out to Thee, O Lord) for three mixed voices explores the contrast between the imploring character of the voices and the crystalline sound (like a light from beyond) brought by the high harmonics of the three pitches of the glasses. In constant support to the vocals and the dialogue between voices, these glasses are a guide for the entries and helps sustaining the melodic lines.
