Work & Edition Details
This work integrates several very opposite characters trying to describe the feelings of the composer confronted with the mixture of two really different cultures. It starts in an atmosphere influenced by Zen. One can also recognize rhythms from the Japanese drums (wadaiko) as well as binary rhythms influenced by the occident. Bass drum, four toms, two bongos.
