Work & Edition Details
Already well-known and frequently performed in brass circles is the 10-part "Suite in F" by Jürgen Pfiester, which is reissued here with score and individual parts (3,3,3,1). Pfiester composed the suite for the wind ensemble of the Evangelical Trombone Association of the Palatinate. It was first performed in 1987 during the Saxon Trombone Festival in Leipzig. Despite its size (instrumentation, length: 5 movements), the suite can also be performed well and very effectively by amateur ensembles.
