Work & Edition Details
The formally simple Rondino also contains hardly any technical difficulties. It is therefore very suitable for amateur orchestras. The Rondino was commissioned for the school orchestra of a grammar school. According to the conditions of this orchestra, it is written for five voices (2,1,1,1). The 3rd voice can be played by violas as well as violins.
