Work & Edition Details
Koerppen's march was composed in connection with the tuba concerto (ADU-121), quasi as a counterpart to the third movement. Although this is indeed a march, it does not correspond to the expectations and is thus a typical example of Koerppen's composing: illuminating the supposedly familiar from a different perspective and thus creating something new in terms of content.
