Work & Edition Details
The Concerto can be played by good school or amateur orchestras. The instrumentation should be as strong as possible, the double bass should not be omitted. Soloists sit in the tutti, solo passages are included in the tutti parts. The composition seems to me particularly suitable for representative occasions, school celebrations, matriculations, etc. In this case, the first two movements can also be played alone. I also see possibilities for performance outdoors, at summer festivals, serenade evenings and the like. Here, the third movement could be performed alone.
