Work & Edition Details
The first piece Initio "introduces" in the double meaning of the word, it means "beginning", but also "initiation". From piece to piece, an interlude named Elevation conveys the ascent into a higher rank of the angelic order. The various poems describe modes of being and attributes in which one recognises the "guardian angel" or the cosmic "powers", "forces" and "dominions". Sacred animals follows on from a face of Ezekiel that later recurs in the evangelist symbols.
