Work & Edition Details
The idea of the piece was to transform a motivic material into a different, more amorphous state of aggregation by "heating" it, as it were. In the process, tones were to be transposed into sounds, motifs into gestures, sounds into sound conglomerates, while at the same time audibly retaining their identity.
