Work & Edition Details
The three chorales "Fröhlich soll mein Herze springen", "In dulci jubilo" and "Gelobet seist du, Jesu Christ" are offered by Matthias Drude in sonorous, partly quite free arrangements for wind instruments. The arrangements are stylistically based on old models, but Drude, in his own way, gives them a new shape and a different perspective than the usual one, but one that is appropriate to the situation and the melodies.
