Work & Edition Details
Drude's Christmas carol suites for brass instruments of 8 voices and timpani (ad lib.) are sometimes sonorously splendid, also devotional or playful, occasionally virtuosic, but always solemnly effective. The individual suites usually contain a free prelude followed by various through-composed movements to the well-known melodies.
